Join us for the 9th Annual END ADDICTION BHAM Walk presented by ETA!

Together, we'll walk to honor those we've lost, celebrate those in recovery, and offer hope to those still struggling. Every step we take helps raise awareness about the substance use crisis affecting our community. TOGETHER WE CAN help save lives and build a stronger, healthier future for Birmingham and the state of Alabama.

The END ADDICTION BHAM Walk presented by ETA is a FREE event hosted by the Addiction Prevention Coalition. This 9th annual event raises awareness and funds to help combat the addiction epidemic in Alabama.

Your participation in this event directly supports life-saving programs in our community. Every dollar raised helps us:
- Communicate awareness of the ADDICTION problem and inspire hope.
- Provide education for the PREVENTION of substance misuse.
- Assist those seeking CONNECTION by creating Coalition in the community.

Price: Free to attend & walk | $35 to register and receive a T-shirt, "Walking for" credentials, and other EAB swag

*REGISTER AS A TEAM*
When you register as a team, you'll get to choose your own team name. Many teams walk in honor of a loved one who has suffered from substance use disorder or or in memory of a loved one they lost. Every team gets a team fundraising page where you can share your story of why you're walking and raise money for the cause. Teams that raise $250 or more will have their team name printed on a banner and displayed at a prominent Birmingham location. The top 3 fundraisers will be recognized at the event. Each team member will register for $35 per person and receive an END ADDICTION BHAM Walk T-shirt, an 'I'm Walking For' Lanyard and more.

*REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT*
If you do not wish to register as a team, you can register as an individual participant. Every registered participant will receive an END ADDICTION BHAM Walk T-shirt, an 'I'm Walking For' Lanyard and more. Registration is $35 per person. You'll also get a personalized fundraising page to help us spread the word and raise funds for the event. The top 3 fundraisers will be presented with an award at the event!

*SIGN UP TO BE A FUNDRAISER ONLY*
Can't make it to the event? Or not planning to register? You can still participate in fundraising by signing up to be a fundraiser (without the registration)! You'll get a fundraising page to share with your friends and encourage them to help you raise money! The top 3 fundraisers will be recognized at the event.

We’re excited to be returning to the Birmingham Museum of Art for the 14th Annual Holi Festival on March 15th from 12-5 PM. This is a traditional Indian festival celebrating the beginning of spring, and is full of fun and festivities. Open to all ages and free to the public, it packs out quickly. Come one, come all to our Gratitude Meeting! Join us as we come together to share what we’re thankful for, surrounded by good company and warm treats. We’ll have pies, coffee, and speakers from various recovery groups, creating an uplifting space to celebrate gratitude. The gathering will be held at the Keystone Club, so bring yourself and your gratitude, and connect with some amazing people. Looking forward to seeing you there!

We’re returning to watch the bulls shove more pucks down people’s throats. Tickets are normally around $30, but with the size groups this event has been bringing we have been getting them for $20 or less. So….send $20 to either $bbaez01 or @dagnabbitb123 to reserve your spot. Last day to reserve your seat is the 13th before 5pm.

*If you would like to attend one of our events but don’t have the $ or need a ride, please reach out to the individual hosting the event. Arrangements more often than not can be made, given enough time.
